The Class Cheer
Create class unity with this easy to use idea.
After a game inside or outside the classroom get the students to gather round in a clustered circle and stretch their hands down into the middle of the group.
A ‘class cheer’ in action in Year 2.
Wave them over and indicate with your hands what they should do.
Once they are gathered around explain you are doing a class cheer to celebrate everyone spending time together.
Wait till everyone is clustered around in the group, count ‘One two, three’ pull your hands up into the air and shout, ‘YAH!’
Creates class unity, releases some endorphins and everyone leaves feeling happy.
